Less Christianese, More Cheeseburgers
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the way we live out our faith. We focus a lot on avoiding sin, learning about God, and talking...
Whether you’re a frequent flyer or a first-time visitor, I’m glad you’re here. This isn’t the polished cockpit of a seasoned saint or the plush first-class lounge of the theologically elite. It’s more like flying coach on a red-eye — a little cramped, slightly awkward, much too close to the lavatory, but occasionally surprising and maybe even meaningful if you don’t mind the occasional bumps.
If you hold low expectations, I might meet expectations and we both might have fun seeing where this flight takes us. And if the oxygen masks suddenly drop, just remember — breathe deeply, enjoy the pure oxygen buzz, and don’t forget to put yours on first before helping the person next to you. Don't wait for me. I'll be the one shoving women and children on my way to the exit.
Here’s hoping for an ontime arrival and the occasional breathtaking view.
