This site contains the musings of an ordinary guy trying to follow Jesus into His extraordinary plan. I’m not a particularly impressive saint, just a modern guy who occasionally stumbles, sometimes grumbles, and hilariously fumbles his way through this life of faith. I might share some insights, but I’m more likely to share my missteps and lessons learned, because if God can work with a mess like me, there may even be hope for you.

 

To prove my sincerity (and humility), I’d list my many flaws, but that sounds embarrassing. I’d have to include my overuse of metaphors, a questionable sense of humor, the uncomfortable silence after I try ot joke in church, and my tendency to mix metaphors like a blindfolded chef.  But in the spirit of keeping it real, I’ll just say I’m a work in progress — which means I’m in good company, because last I checked, we all are.

 

At the end of the day, my hope for this site is simple: to love God, love others, and maybe give my mom something to read to her friends. If she’s going to brag, she might as well have some fresh material.  If I write something epically bad, she can always blame my dad's side of the family.  So, if you’re up for some unfiltered reflections, occasional rants, and a few mildly awkward attempts at transparency, stick around. Who knows? We might just learn something together.
